Me and chris filmed some shots today of me walking past towards the music room we also got a shot of chris playing the guitar and me coming in and starting to drum we then got a shot of me walking back out. we need to do a dialogue shot then start editing the shots into one shot.

An action thriller where a sub-conience soldier has been involved in a helicopter crash and awakens in whats known as the source code which basically a time machine, his mission is to prevent a terrorist attack on a plane.

After Katie moves into her boyfriends house they start to experience some extraordinary occurrences within the house and Micah (Katie's boyfriend) sets up a camera during the night to catch these experiences          after about two weeks it continues and gets worse they bring a priest to the house but this doesnt help it only makes it worse and leads to a very bad ending.

prelimary task

In the prelimary task we will be in groups of up to four and demonstratting four different techniques we can use with continuing editing, this is used to make smooths shots and ctreate more suspense and make a lot more exciting. One of these shots is called a match on action shot, these shots are used when a character is either running a long way or just walking. The character will enter one shot and continue into the next. Another one of these techniques are shot/reverse shot, these shots are mostly used when two characters are alternating dialogue between each other. The camera is either over the shoulder or a P.O.V shot, this gives us a look at the talking character so we get the facial expression of the character identifying what their mood is and we also get the mood of the character by the body language they will use as they sit exchanging dialogue. The third technique is the 180 degree rule this too is used within dialogue, if two chararcters are in one shot, one character is on one side and the other opposite, and the rule is you dont go on the other side of either character or they switch sides in the shot and this then affects the film within flow and smoothness. The final technique is eyeline match, this helps with a relationship between characters, it has an ECU on one character then imediatly does the same thing on anpther showing all facial expressions revealing how each character feels about the each other.

This is not like your everyday thriller. Although there is not a hero and villian there is tension all the way through this film which makes it in the thriller category. It is about a mountain climber who gets his arm stuck between a rock and a wall and is sat there for five days with 500ml of water and go to drastic measures to free himself from his new friend.
